It’s Sold

After having Dragontail on the market for over 2-1/2 years, we finally sell it in less than a week.

The new owners are a very nice couple from Victoria. They are experienced sailors but never owned a power boat.  On their last sail boat they sailed across the Pacific and sold it in Australia rather than bringing it back.

It all happened extraordinarily quickly.  We were in the process of switching listing brokers and were bringing the boat down from Anacortes to Seattle. As we were approaching the Ballard Locks, our old broker calls and says that he has an offer from the future purchasers who looked at it the day before we took it from Anacortes.

During the next week, a survey was performed and the purchase closed. We even helped the new owners take the boat through the locks into Puget Sound on their way back to Victoria.

Dragontail was a great boat and has prepared us well for building our new boat, Alpenglow.
