May 23rd - Port McNeill - Waiting & Cycling

Still in Port McNeill and will certainly be here tonight and possibly tomorrow night.

We are cycling our batteries through charging/discharging cycles in the hopes of recovering some of the capacity they ought to have. It takes about 4-1/2 hours for a charge cycle and 5 to 8 hours for the discharge cycle (depends on how many things we turn on). We should be able to get two full charge/discharge cycles in a 24 hour period.

We are also waiting on the nanopulser that we ordered. It was sent Express Mail so we are hoping it'll show up at the harbour master's office today.

The three sail boats that we were tied next to in Shoal Bay showed up in the marina yesterday afternoon and are tied up next to us again.  They are "buddy-boating" up to Alaska.

Also, when we arrived a couple of days ago, there was already a Selene 47 (Kinship) tied up on a finger pier across from us. They are waiting for three other Selenes to show up either today or tomorrow. They, also, will be buddy-boating into Alaska.

Our plans are up in the air until we think we've done whatever we are able to do while tied to the dock.
