June 28th – Rosario Resort, Orcas Island

We're certainly on our last legs now. We cleared US Customs in Roche Harbor around 9:30 AM. They quickly determined we weren't a threat to homeland security and let us back in.

We arrived at Rosario Resort (June 28 ) shortly before 1 PM. We'll be spending our last two nights here before returning to Anacortes on Saturday.

We know the harbormaster here, Gary Joseph, from when he was a fleet captain for Anacortes Yacht Charters. He is a live aboard and kept his boat  on C-dock at Anacortes Marina a few slips from where we had our boat. He was always a great help to us as we learned our boat.

While at the resort we'll probably go on a hike in Moran State Park and use the pool and shower facilities. Unlimited showers are a luxury too good to pass up.

The boat traffic is picking up as we've gone further south and as summer begins in earnest. At our furthest north, we'd see only a handful of boats all day. Now, we have to adjust our course several times an hour to stay out of the way of other boats.
