Eucott Bay was so pretty that we decided to spend another day here. We had it pretty much to ourselves. Some folks in Zodiac-like inflatables came in during the morning and a commercial crabber is anchored here this evening, although they appear to be on holiday.
The weather was pretty pleasant to start the day although a bit overcast. We ate breakfast on the flybridge and looked for the local fauna along the shoreline. Despite our high hopes, no bears showed up.
For the afternoon, we intended to drop our kayaks and paddle over to the hot springs in the bay but we waited for high tide to reduce the mud we might have to walk through to get to it. As we changed in our paddling clothes, first the wind came up and the rain was not far behind. We elected to stay aboard our dry boat.
Tomorrow we'll try for an early start and head for an anchorage up another less traveled anchorage.
